Why Taiwan now
LINE penetration in Taiwan is 94%. Taiwan is one of the smoothest countries for bringing Japanese nursing AI into society.
In 2026, Taiwan entered a super-aged society, with people aged 65 and over exceeding 20% of the population and home nursing agencies growing beyond 730 facilities. But the front line faces the same structural issues as Japan: nurses are buried in administration, cannot focus on care, talent is scarce, and complex systems exhaust the field.
We have deployed Houkan AI Ope in Japan and already introduced it to more than 100 stations. Now is the time to bring this technology and knowledge to Taiwan.
What you will do
- Phase 1, up to 6 months: visit home nursing agencies and providers in Taiwan, interview the field, find two to three PoC partners, and run a Taiwan version of Houkan AI Ope
- Phase 2, 6 months to 1 year: lead local subsidiary setup, rebuild the AI knowledge base for Taiwan's home nursing system, national health insurance benefits, and workflows, and supervise Traditional Chinese UI
- Phase 3, from year 1: build paid customers, develop relationships with nursing associations and health authorities, hire and expand the team, and run the Taiwan entity independently
Requirements (MUST)
- From Taiwan or long-term Taiwan experience, with native-level Traditional Chinese
- Work experience in Japan or business experience with Japanese companies, with business Japanese ability equivalent to JLPT N1
- Ability to form hypotheses and keep moving in an environment without clear answers
Preferred (WANT)
- Experience or knowledge in healthcare, nursing, or health tech
- Sales or business development experience in IT, SaaS, or BPO
- Network in Taiwan's home nursing industry or medical institutions
